Science Research Initiative
I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the Science Research Initiative (SRI) at the University of Utah.
As part of my role at the SRI, I am working with 1st and 2nd year undergraduates on mathematics research. In particular, we are studying the mathematics of higher-dimensional chip firing games.
Are you interested in working with me?
Here are my short introductory slides for the SRI Higher-Dimensional Chip Firing Research Stream.
If you would like to see more details, here are slides with more info about the dynamics of these systems.
Here are the slides from the Intro to Math Proofs Workshop I put together for SRI students. This workshop introduces students to proofs while trying to solve the Josephus Problem (in a context that is less violent).
If you are an SRI student interested in working with me or if you have questions about these slides, feel free to reach out to me via email!
